John Grundy is a highly skilled Corporate Coach and Human Resource professional with extensive experience in coaching managers and leading organisations through major change processes in the private and public sector environment.
John's qualifications include
Higher Diploma of Teaching Secondary, Bachelor of Education and
Post Graduate Diploma (Office Systems) from Deakin University.
John established a role with the Victorian government
as the General Manager HR. This he utilised to achieve a rapid
Turnaround Strategy in the establishment of United Energy, the
first privatised distribution business in Victoria.
John's career in the utilities industry culminated in his role as Executive Manager Human Resources for Eastern Energy Limited (part of Texas Utilities, USA). John was responsible for a budget of $2.1m and 13 HR employees providing a full range of Strategic and Operational HR Services and reporting directly to the Managing Director.
John then established his own Consulting
practice providing services to various public and private sector organisations
such as Australian Human Resources Institute, Lonely
Plant Publishing Company, North Western Hospital Network, ANZ Bank and
various Manufacturing companies such as Flowserve Australia, JAC Australia
and Sutton Tools Pty Ltd.
John spent over 3 years developing
the HR Consulting Division of Options Consulting Group and worked in
many businesses as their HR Adviser including Lanes Biscuits (formerly
Nabisco), Stanley Australia, Natra Radiator Group, Champion Compressors,
Metaltec Precision International.
In the past 3 years John has completed
a Corporate Coaching program with the Gaia Consulting Group and is a
certified Business Coach and has now moved back into his own Consulting
business. John now balances HR Consulting with his Coaching
work and provides ongoing strategic support to key employees in organisations
using his Coaching and Human Resource skills.
